OUR FIRST LADY
Falon Moore McFarland is the wife of Rev. Rodney McFarland, Jr., Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Bracktown. She is the daughter of Rev. Zettie L. Moore Jr. and Cassie W. Moore, and the eldest of three siblings.
Falon, a native of Hodge, LA, graduated from Jonesboro-Hodge High School. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems and Marketing from Grambling State University, in Grambling, LA. She recently earned her Master’s in
Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler. Falon has a professional background in telecommunications with 11+ years of experience encompassing Marketing Research, Product Management, and Systems Analysis.
Falon is a member of the Beta Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., here in Lexington, KY. Falon finds fulfillment in volunteering for various causes. While doing ministry in Longview, TX, she volunteered her time with Habitat for Humanity. Falon is the mother of three young children, Ava (9), Bella (5), and Remi (2). Falon loves the Lord with her whole heart, and she believes her first ministry is to her family. Falon is excited to engage in ministry at Bracktown. One of her first roles will be as the newly appointed Children and Youth Ministry Director.
